The full size sheets of 8.5 x 11 and 12 x 18 are ideal for creating bumper stickers, real estate signs, sporting goods labels, outdoor equipment labels and any other label where water resistance is important. You are only limited by your imagination. White Laser Vinyl is rated at a two year outdoor life. The material is impervious to water and can hold up under repeated washings, even in a dishwasher. Sunlight might prove more damaging than water to your image. Darker colors will last longer in bright sunlight with yellows and reds being the first to fade. If used outdoors in the shade, WLV should hold up to regular exposure to rainfall for the life expectancy. Due to the wide range of laser printers on the market, it is always best to test this material under your conditions. Additional care should be taken when running adhesive materials through laser printers and copiers, especially synthetics such as vinyl and polyester. White Laser Vinyl is thicker than regular copy paper. It is equivalent in thickness to a light card stock. The vinyl itself is thin like copy paper, but it requires a heavy liner to guide the flexible vinyl through the machine. Some small desktop laser printers are designed to handle only 20 pound bond and may have difficulty handling this material. It is helpful to use software and/or printer settings for card stock when printing on to this material. We recommend running one sheet at a time to test your settings and avoid a paper jam involving more than one sheet. Conclusion We know white laser vinyl can produce outstanding results.. If your laser printer or copier is not capable of handling this material we recommend bringing the blank stock to a local copy center or print shop and request they run your job on to your stock supplied.
